Saravana bhavan rava kesari recipe Ingredients
White Rava - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - ½ cup
Milk - 2 cup
Cashew nuts - 15
Cardamom – 3
Dry grapes - 10
Ghee – 50ml
Food color (orange) - A pinch
Optional Ingredients
Mango or Pineapple or banana – ¼ cup (piece)
How to Prepare Saravana bhavan rava kesari recipe
Fry the rava by adding a tsp of ghee, fry until it becomes golden brown and shiny.
Take a pan and pour little oil or ghee and sauté the Cashew nuts, cardamom and dry grapes. Keep it aside.
Now add the milk and water in the pan and let to boil. Meanwhile mix the food colour with little water.
Add the food colour in the boiling water. Then add the rava and stir continuously to avoid lumps formation.
Finally add sugar and stir for a minute and add ghee. Mix well and add the fried Cashew nuts, cardamom and dry grapes.
Pineapple rava kesari recipe Preparation: add cut pieces of pineapple at last with the fried (Cashew nuts, cardamom and dry grapes) ingredients.
Banana rava kesari recipe Preparation: same like the above, add banana pieces instead of pineapple.
Mango rava kesari recipe Preparation: Add medium ripped banana pieces with the Tamil rava kesari recipe.
