Tamil Style Milagu Satham Recipe Pepper Rice Tasty Tamil nadu Preparation

Tamil Style Milagu Satham recipe Tamil nadu Preparation is popularly called Pepper Rice recipe. Preparation method is very easy. It is not only a recipe for tasty  but also medicinally important. Milagu Satham recipe is good for people those who are affected from cold, cough and sore throat. Here is the simple preparation method of Milagu rice recipe.

Milagu Satham Tamil Recipe ingredients
Quality Rice - 1 cup
Pepper - 1 tsp
Mustard – 1tsp
Curry leaves - little
Ghee - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Bengal gram (kadalai paruppu) -
 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Grated coconut: - 1tsp
Cashew nut - 10
Salt - as required

Milagu Satham Milagu Rice Recipe preparation

  1. Boil rice by adding double the amount of water
  2. The boiled rice consistency must be non sticky
  3. Take a pan, add some oil and put mustad and curry leaves
  4. Then add Bengal gram, urad dal and grated coconut. Fry in sim flame
  5. Grind the fried ingredients in a mixture grinder nicely and keep it aside
  6. Prepare the pepper power and keep it aside.
  7. Take another pan and add ghee, heat for a minute and add the cashew nuts.
  8. Fry until it becomes and golden brown and add the peeper powder (switch off the stove if necessary).  
  9. Remove the pan from the flame and add the rice and salt. Mix well to avoid uneven mixing.
  10. Now add the ground ingredients with the rice and mix properly.
  11. Milagu Satham recipe is ready to taste.
  12. You can take poppet for side dish with Milagu Satham recipe.
