Nethili Karuvadu Kulambu Recipe Tamil Preparation


Brinjal (kathrikai )– ¼ l kg
Cow pea ( rajma) -  1 Cup
Onion - 200 g
Green chillies - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Mustard – 1 tablespoon
Fenugreek seed -  1 tablespoon
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Cumin seed powder - 2 tsp
Oil – as required
Tamarind -  lemon size
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 3 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Salt -  as required

Cut the onions into thin slices and also cut the kathrikai into small slices.
Place the pan in the stove and add little. Then add mustard, fenugreek seed and let it to fry.
Then add the onion slices and curry leaves. Fry until it becomes golden brown.
    Add ginger garlic paste, fry well then add the sliced tomatoes, fry until it slurred.
   The add rajma, brinjal and Karuvadu fry well.
Then add all the powdered ingredients, mix well and add remaining water.
Add Salt, green chillies and Tamirind juice and let to boil.
Finally add pepper and cumin seeds powder before serving.
The taste will be same like chettinad karuvadu kulambu recipe.
