1.   While washing fish, add some salt with the water and wash it. This will remove the bad fish odour.
2.   While preparing dry fish kuzhambu, soak the fish in salted cold water half an before cooking.
3.   Cholesterol patients can not eat the fried fish. Cut the fish into small pieces, add salt, pepper, and lemon jice. Leave it for some time and steam cook it by using the idli cooker. The taste will be excellent.
4.   The mutton or chicken pieces are too hard add little lemon juice. It will become smooth and soft.

Chef dhamu samayal Tamil Non veg Recipe Palak Chicken Masala Ingredients
Palak keerai – 1 Bunch
Chicken – 1/2kg
Onion – 1/4kg
Tomato – 4
Chilli powder – 2tsp
Coriander powder – 3tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 1
Clove – 2
Ginger garlic paste – 1tsp
Salt as required
Oil as per your taste

How to prepare dhamu samayal recipe Non veg Recipe Palak Chicken Masala
  1. One of my favorite in chef dhamu samayal recipes is Palak Chicken Masala recipe. Here is the very simple and easy prepareation.
  2. Take a pan and add some oil, heat it and fry Cardamom, Cinnamon and clove.
  3. Clean the chicken and Palak keerai separately and keep it aside
  4. Finely chop the onion and tomatoes and keep it aside.
  5. Then add the chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and tomatoes.
  6. Fry in medium flame for a minute and add chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
  7.  Add a little water and fry until the raw smell goes.
  8. Now add the cleaned Palak keerai and chicken and fry nicely by adding salt.
  9. Add water if necessary and cook the chicken and Palak keerai.
  10. When it becomes gravy from remove from the stove and serve hot.

You can prepare this for the festival like Diwali and Pongal. There are different preparations in Appam Recipe Tamil nadu style. Here I have given the simple and easy preparation.

Tamil Sweet Appam Recipe Ingredients
Raw rice (pacharici)- 2 cups
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Jaggery – 2 cups
Cardamom powder - 2
Gingelly oil – required

How to Prepare Sweet Appam Recipe Tamil Nadu Style
  1. Soak raw rice for about 2 hours and grind nicely.
  2. Dissolve Jaggery in warm water, filter it and mix with wheat flour.
  3. Then mix this with ground rice flour, cardamom power and keep it ready.
  4. Take a pan pour half lit of oil, heat it.
  5. Then pour one big scoop of Appam mixture in the oil.
  6. Turn it down when it floats on the oil.

Recipe of Poondu Chutney in Tamil Nadu 
This is Recipe of Poondu Chutney in Tamil Nadu Style Preparation. Garlic is medicinally very important kitchen cooking ingredient.  There are different types of Poondu chutney varieties are prepared.  The medicinal properties of Poondu are many. It reduces the blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Here I have given the idea of how to make poondu chutney easy and simple.

Poondu Chatni Ingredients
Poondu (Garlic) 20 to 25 cloves
Tomato – 1
Tamarind – coin size
Red chillies – 6
Salt as required

Sautéing ingredients
Sesame oil – little
Mustard and urad dal – little
Curry leaves – little
Asafotida  a pinch

How to Prepare Poondu Chutney in Tamil Style 
Chop the tomatoes into small pieces and keep ready.
Take a pan and add little oil, fry the chillies and keep it ready
Then fry the garlic in the same oil, keep it separate.
Then fry the tomato pieces and keep it separate.
Now add the fried ingredients together with salt and tamarind.
Grind nicely and sauté with the given ingredients.
Boil it for five minutes. Tasty Spicy Poondu Chutney Tamil style is ready to taste.
Note: Sesame oil gives nice odour and taste.
If you want you can add one or two extra tomatoes (thakkali poondu chutney )and reduce tamarind.
If you want to keep this for more than a day, add more sesame oil.

I usually prepare this aloo paratha for kids school tiffin box. The preparation is also very easy and delicious. Aloo paratha Tamil recipe is also called potato stuffed parotha and Potato stuffed Chapati.

Ingredients for Tamil Samayal Aloo Paratha Easy Recipe
Maida flour – 2cups
Potato – 2
Chopped onion – 1
Curry leaves and Coriander leaves – little
Garam masala – 1/4tsp
Salt as required
Oil as required

How to Prepare aloo paratha tamil Samayal Recipe
  • Take the Maida flour, add little water and oil, prepare like chapatti flour and keep it for 2 hours.
  • Boil the potatoes by adding little salt and mash it nicely and keep ready.
  • Take a pan pour little oil and fry the onion and add garam masala on the warm onion.
  • Now mix the onion, coriander, curry leaves, salt and with mashed potato.
  • Make small potato balls and prepare paratha and stuff the potato in paratha.
  • Take a dosa tava and make aloo paratha tamil recipe same like chapatti preparation.
  • Add oil while cooking both the sides,  aloo paratha recipe tamil preparation is ready to taste.
  • Note: While preparing Aloo paratha for kids, you should not add the chopped green chillies.
  • Instead of maida flour you can make this recipe with wheat flour (Good for diabetic patients).

Ennai Kathirikai Gravy Brinjal Gravy for Biriyani South Indian Style

Ennai Kathirikai Gravy or Brinjal Gravy is commonly prepared in south India.  This recipe is very special in Tamil nadu. Brinjal gravy recipe is the best side diah for chapathi, roti, biriyani and dosa. Here I have given the easy preparation method for kathirikai gravy recipe.

Ingredients for Brinjal Gravy Recipe South Indian
Brinjal (Kathirikai) – 1/4 kg
Chopped Onion - 1
Small tomato - 1
Green chillies - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Oil - 4 tablespoon
Chilly powder – 1tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼  tsp
Tamarind - small lemon size
Grated Coconut - 2 table spoon
Sesame - 2 tsp
Peanut - 2 tsp
Cinnamon - a small piece
Ani seeds (sombu)- 1/4tsp
Coriander leaves, Curry leaves -  little
Salt -  as required

How to Prepare Ennai Kathirikai or Gravy Brinjal Gravy

  1. Usually children don’t like the taste of brinjal but if you give this brinjal gravy for roti and dosa side dish they like the taste very much.
  2. Take a pan and pour little oil, add the chopped brinjal and let it to fry in medium flame for five minutes.
  3. Remove when it becomes golden brown and keep it aside. Prepare tamarind juice by adding little water. Grind coconut and prepare paste like form.
  4. In the same pan add cinnamon, curry leaves, ani seeds, ginger garlic paste and onion.
  5. When the onion becomes golden brown add all masala powders and green chillies.
  6. Now add the tamarind juice and let it to boil for some time, after the raw smell goes add the fried brinjal and salt.
  7. Add the ground and coconut and required amount of water. Keep in low flame and let it to boil for five minutes.
  8. Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves.   Delicious brinjal gravy recipe is ready to taste.
  9. You can prepare this type of masala brinjal gravy for biryani.
  10. Note: While preparing brinjal gravy curry for chapathi grind the coriander leaves and poppy seeds with coconut. This will give an excellent taste for you recipe.

How to Prepare Samayal Samayal Tamil Recipe Ragi Dosa

  1. Take a pan, pour little oil and sauté muatrad, cumin seeds
  2. Add onion and fry until it becomes brown in colour.
  3. Take a vessel, add idli flour, chapatti atta and ragi flour
  4. Mix together by adding required salt and water, let it for 2 hours
  5. Then add the fried onion mixture, chopped chillies, coriander and curry leaves.
  6. Mix well and add little water if necessary (instead of frying you can add the raw onion)
  7. Now Ragi dosa mix is ready, prepare like dosa add oil on both the sides.
  8. The best side dish for my samayal samayal latest ragi dosai is coconut chutney.

This is En samayal ulagam my favorite Tasty Egg Kulambu Recipe in Tamil Style. Egg Kulambu samayal is mostly favorite of all non vegetarian people.  Samayal Egg Kulambu is the best side dish for breakfast varieties, white rice and even for variety rice including Tamil style biryani. The taste resembles chicken and mutton kulambu. When compare to other non veg kulamnu the preparation of Egg Kulambu recipe samayal is very easy and simple.

Tamil Egg Kulambu Recipe Ingredients
Egg – 4
Sambar onion – 1 cup
Tomato – 2
Ginger garlic paste – 2tsp
Coriander powder – 1tsp
Chilli powder – 2tsp
Poppy seeds – 1tsp
Funnel seeds – 1/2tsp
Cinnamon - 1
Coriander leaves – a bunch
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Oil – little
Salt as required

How to Prepare Tamil Egg Kulambu Recipe
  1. Boil the eggs by adding little salt as in our usual method.
  2. Let it to cool and cut in to two by lengthwise and keep it ready.
  3. Fry half of the onion by adding little oil and keep it aside.
  4. Chop the remaining onion and tomatoes.
  5. Grind coconut, fried onion, coriander leaves,  Poppy and funnel seeds together.
  6. Take a vessel, add little oil and put Cinnamon, ginger garlic paste.
  7. Then add the chopped onion and tomatoes, fry well and add all power ingredients.
  8. Add a cup of water and ground egg kulambu recipe in Tamil ingredients.
  9. Put salt and let to boil for ten to fifteen minutes, finally add boiled egg and mix gently.
  10. Note: you can add water as per your preparation, if you want gravy or curry add less water. For Tamil kulambu making you can add more water. This will taste good for plain rice. The gravy is delicious for variety rice, idli, dosai, chapatti and parota.

Ingredients for Rava laddu Recipe Tamil nadu Style Preparation
Rava – 1cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Grated coconut – 1/2cup
Raisins – little
Cashew nuts – little
Cardamom – 3
Ghee – as per taste
Milk – little

How to Make Rava Laddu in Tamil at home easily
  • You can make rava laddu tamil style easily at home. Here is the recipe for Tamil nadu Rava laddu
  • Take a pan add 1tsp of ghee and fry the Cashew nuts, Raisins. Keep it aside.
  • In the same pan fry rava into golden brown and keep it aside
  • Then add 1/2tsp of ghee and fry the grated coconut, keep it aside.
  • Now grind the sugar and rava together (make cardamom powder) in the mixer grinder.
  • Now add all the rava laddu ingredients together and mix well.
  • Boil the milk and keep it aside. Now add the hot milk (little) on the ingredients.
  • Make small balls as per your desire by adding little milk and decorate with raisins.

Murungai Keerai Poriyal Healthy Recipes Samayal for Pregnant Ladies


Murungai Keerai Poriyal 
Murungai Keerai drumstick leaves samayal is very good and healthy for all people especially for pregnant ladies. Murungai Keerai is rich in vitamins and minerals. It is the major source of iron which is called one of the essential nutrients for pregnant ladies.  

Ingredients for Murungai Keerai Poriyal
Murungai Keerai (drumstick leaves) – 1 bunch
Big onion – 2
Red chillies – 6
Mustard – 1tsp
peanut – ½ cup
Garlic – 4-5 clove
Grated Coconut – ½ cup
Oil and salt as per your taste

How to Prepare Healthy Samayal for Pregnant Ladies Murungai Keerai Poriyal Recipe
Clean and chop the drumstick leaves, wash it before cutting to avoid nutrient loss.
Chop the onion and chillies and garlic into very thin pieces.
Fry the peanut (ground nut) and break into very small pieces, keep it aside.
Add a cup of water and Salt. Pressure cook it by closing the lid. Let for 2 or 3 whistles.
Take a pan add oil and mustard seeds, let to splitter then add the chopped onion.
When the fried into golden brown add chillies and garlic, fry well and add the Murungai Keerai leaves.
Now add the cooked leaves and fry until the water fully evaporates.
Finally garnish with grated coconut and peanut. Murungai Keerai Poriyal is ready to taste.
Note: The bitter taste of the keerai is changed by adding coconut and ground nut.
