- 2 cup Basmati rice
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 cup Nellikai (Goose berries sliced)

- 1/4 cup fried ground nut
- 2 tsp Urad daal
- 2 tsp mustard seeds
- Oil 50ml
- Turmeric powder pinch

How to Make Nellikai Sadam Recipe
- Cook basmati rice in a pressure cooker by adding double amount of water.
- Chop the gooseberry in to very thin slices, cut green chillies in length
- Then take a heavy bottom pan, heat oil and add Urad daal and mustard seeds.
- When it gets fried add curry leaves, sliced onion and green chillies.
- Then add the Nellikai slices and fry well. When it is fried well switch of the stove and add the remaining Nellikai ingredients.
- Mix well by adding enough salt and finally add the cooked basmati rice.
- Garnish the Nellikai Sadam with fried ground nut and coriander leaves.
