Best Biryani in Tamil nadu Ambur Mutton Biryani Recipe

Ingredients needed for Tamil Style Mutton Biryani Samayal
Mutton –  1/2 kg
Basmati rice – 4 cups
Chopped onion – 1 cup
Tomatoes – 2
Mint and coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Ginger garlic paste – 1tsp
Curd – 1 cup
Red chillies - 10
Salt as per taste
Ghee -2tbs
Oil - 3tbs

Sautéing ingredients
brinji leaves
Clove - 2
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon – 1

How to Prepare Ambur Mutton Biryani Recipe in Tamil Style
  • Soak and grind the red chillies nicely, soak the rice fifteen minutes,
  • Take a pan add ghee and oil, then add the sautéing ingredients followed by ginger garlic paste,
  • Then add the ground red chillies paste, after a minute add the finely chopped mutton pieces,
  • Fry it for 10-15 minutes and add the mint and coriander leaves, and then onion and tomatoes,
  • Add salt, a cup of curd and two cups of water. Close the lid and let the mutton to cook smoothly,
  • Cook the rice separately in another vessel or pressure cooker,
  • After mutton is cooked fine, add the cooked rice with the mutton (should not mash the rice)
  • Now keep the prepared Biryani Recipe dum for five to ten minutes to get smoothness,
  • Very delicious Ambur Mutton Biryani Recipe in Tamil style is ready to taste.
