Hotel Saravana Bhavan Sambar Recipe Tamil Ingredients
  • Lentil - 1 / 4 cup
  • kathirikai (Eggplant) - 1
  • Drumstick - 1
  • Sambar Onion  - 10
  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Chillies - 2
  • Salt - as needed
  • Tamarind - small lemon size

Grinding Ingredients to Prepare saravana bhavan sambar powder
  • Fried gram - 2 tsp
  • Tomatoes - One (Large)
  • Coconut - a spoon
  • Sambar podi 4 tsp
  • Asafoetida - a little

Saravana Bhavan sambar powder recipe Ingredients
  • Mustard seeds- 1 / 4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1 / 4 tsp
  • Urad Dal  - 1 / 4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli -  1
  • Curry leaves and coriander leaves - as needed

 Saravana Bhavan Sambar Recipe Preparation
  • Clean and boil lentil in a pressure cooker by adding a cup of water.
  • Skin out the sambar onion, cut into small pieces, Wash and cut the vegetables.
  • Make a paste of cooked Dal and add four cups of water. Keep in flame.
  • Then add the vegetables, green chillies and half the onion.
  • Let it to boil for five minutes. Meanwhile grind the grinding ingredients nicely.
  • Prepare tamarind juice by adding a cup of water and keep it ready.
  • Now add the tamarind juice and ground Saravana bhavan sambar recipe ingredients.
  • Mix well and add salt as required. Remove from the stove after the vegetables are properly cooked.
  • Take a pan, pout some oil. Sauté mustard and cumin seeds, then add curry leaves and onion.
  • Pour this to Tamil sambar recipe, Garnish with finally chopped coriander leaves.
  • Hotel Saravana bhavan sambar recipe is ready to taste. It is the best side dish for idli, Dosai and uthappam recipes.
  • You can prepare saravana bhavan sambar rice recipe by mixing the sambar with hot rice.
