Saravana Bhavan Red Chutney Recipe Sautéing Ingredients
Mustard - 1 / 2 tsp
Katalaipparuppu - 1 / 2 tsp
broken urad Dal – 1.5 tsp
Asafoetida - a little
Oil - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 cluster

Saravana Bhavan Tomato Chutney Preparation
Take a pan and pour 1tsp of oil. Heat oil, sauté Toor Dal and Urad Dal 1 spoon each.
Fry in sim flame until you get the pleasant aroma of the grains.
Then add onion, fry until it becomes golden brown. Then add ginger.
Add garlic and dry red chillies. Fry for a minute. Now add the chopped tomatoes.
Fry the tomatoes until the raw smell went off. Keep in low flame for ten minutes.
Add required salt and leave it for a minute, switch off the stove and add the grated coconut.
Leave it to cool and grind, should not grind the chutney nicely. Remove before it becomes nice.
