Saravana Bhavan Tomato Chutney Recipe Red Chutney Hotel Preparation

Saravana Bhavan Tomato Chutney Recipe Ingredients
Tomato - 1 / 4 kg
Onion - 200 g
Garlic - 5 pallu
Ginger - 1 piece
Red Chilli – 3
Broken urad Dal - 2tsp
Toor Dal (Lentil) – 2 tsp
Coconut - 1 / 2 cup
Salt - the quantity
Saravana Bhavan Red Chutney Recipe Sautéing Ingredients
Mustard - 1 / 2 tsp
Katalaipparuppu - 1 / 2 tsp
broken urad Dal – 1.5 tsp
Asafoetida - a little
Oil - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 cluster

Saravana Bhavan Tomato Chutney Preparation
Take a pan and pour 1tsp of oil. Heat oil, sauté Toor Dal and  Urad Dal 1 spoon each.
Fry in sim flame until you get the pleasant aroma of the grains.
Then add onion, fry until it becomes golden brown. Then add ginger.
Add garlic and dry red chillies. Fry for a minute. Now add the chopped tomatoes.
Fry the tomatoes until the raw smell went off. Keep in low flame for ten minutes.
Add required salt and leave it for a minute, switch off the stove and add the grated coconut.
Leave it to cool and grind, should not grind the chutney nicely. Remove before it becomes nice.
Sauté the saravana bhavan tomato chutney recipe with the above mentioned ingredients

  • Mustard seeds- 1 / 4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1 / 4 tsp
  • Urad Dal  - 1 / 4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli -  1
  • Curry leaves and coriander leaves - as needed

 Saravana Bhavan Sambar Recipe Preparation
  • Clean and boil lentil in a pressure cooker by adding a cup of water.
  • Skin out the sambar onion, cut into small pieces, Wash and cut the vegetables.
  • Make a paste of cooked Dal and add four cups of water. Keep in flame.
  • Then add the vegetables, green chillies and half the onion.
  • Let it to boil for five minutes. Meanwhile grind the grinding ingredients nicely.
  • Prepare tamarind juice by adding a cup of water and keep it ready.
  • Now add the tamarind juice and ground Saravana bhavan sambar recipe ingredients.
  • Mix well and add salt as required. Remove from the stove after the vegetables are properly cooked.
  • Take a pan, pout some oil. Sauté mustard and cumin seeds, then add curry leaves and onion.
  • Pour this to Tamil sambar recipe, Garnish with finally chopped coriander leaves.

How to Make Saravana Bhavan Kurma Recipe
saravana bhavan vegetable korma recipe is very delicious and it is the best combination for chapati,  Parotta and Idiyappam.
Clean and wash the vegetables, remove the skin of potato before going to cut. Chop carrot and beans into small pieces.
Cut the onion as thin slices in lengthwise direction and chop the tomatoes into small and thin slices.
Remove the outer skin in ginger and make a fine paste of ginger and onion.  Keep it aside.
Take a pressure pan and add 2tsp of oil. Then add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon for a couple of seconds.
Then add Ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, green chillies and onion.
Fry well for half minute to get the onion golden brown in colour.
Now add the chopped tomatoes and vegetables sauté for some more minutes in medium flame.
Add a pinch of turmeric powder and coriander powder, mix evenly with all vegetables.
Close the lid by adding a cup of water and salt. Let to have a whistle.
Meanwhile grind poppy seeds, coconut and cashew nut as a fine paste. Keep it ready.
After getting a whistle, open the lid and add the ground Saravana Bhavan Kurma Recipe ingredients.
Mix well and let to for two minutes. Finally garnish with coriander leaves.

Ingredients required for Saravana Bhavan Samayal Pongal Recipe
Raw Rice - 1 cup
moong Dal - 1 / 2 cup
Pepper seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 1
Ginger - 2 "pieces
Curry leaves- 1 cluster
Cashew nut - 25 g
Asafoetida – a pinch
Ghee – 5tsp
Salt as required

Saravana Bhavan Samayal Pongal Recipe Preparation
  1. Saravana Bhavan pongal Preparation is very simple and easy.
  2. Clean and Fry Moong Dal up to it becomes golden colour. Then wash it properly.
  3. Wash and soak raw rice with fried moong dal for half an hour.
  4. Put rice and dal in a coocker, add salt and Asafoetida. Mix well
  5. Boil the rice and dal by adding 4 cups of water for 2 whistles.  
  6. Take a pan and heat ghee. Then sauté mustard, cumin seeds and pepper.
  7. Then add curry leaves, chillies and ginger. Fry the ingredients in sim flame.
  8.  Fry the cashew nuts separately by adding a tsp of ghee.
  9. Then add the fried mixture with the boiled rice, dal mixture.
  10. Add the remaining ghee with Pongal to get the delicious taste.
