Nattu kozhi Biriyani Recipe Tamil Chettinad Preparation

Nattu kozhi Biriyani Recipe 
Nattu kozhi recipes are very delicious than Broiler chicken. Nattu kozhi soup or nattu kozhi rasam is given for patients who suffered of cold and cough.
There are different Non-veg varieties prepared in Nattu kozhi my favorite   Natu koli recipes are
Nattu kozhi biriyani
nattu kozhi kuzhambu
nattu kozhi curry
nattu kozhi fry

Ingredients Required for nattu kozhi biriyani recipe tamil  chettinad  Preparation
Chicken (nattu kozhi) - 1 kg
Basmati rice - 1 kg
tomatoes - 2 or 3
Bellary onion - 1 big
Mint - little
Green chillies - 10 - 12 Count
lemon - half
Curd - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 table spoon
Butter - as needed
Coriander leaves little
Oil - 2 table spoon or as per requirement


Note: Use 1 table spoon Ginger garlic paste to soak chopped nattu kozhi  and  1 table spoon for  of biriyani cooking

Nutmeg powder - 1/5 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - as needed (1-2 tbsp)
Turmeric powder - 2 pinch
Cinnamon - 1 “
Clove- 6
Kal poo - small size
Pineapple flower - 2
Brinji leaves - big 4
Cardamom - big 3
Water – double the amount of rice

How to prepare Nattu Kozhi Biriyani Recipe
Clean and wash the chicken with turmeric water. Chop the flesh into medium sized.
Soak the chicken pieces in the combination of ginger garlic, 1tsp curd, nutmeg powder, turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder for half an hour.
Take a pressure cooker of thick bottomed vessel, add oil and butter. Keep in low flame.  
Put Cinnamon, Clove, Kal poo, Pineapple flower, Cardamom and Brinji leaves sauté well. Then add the ginger garlic paste and chopped onion.
Then add green chillies, chopped tomatoes, mint leaves. Mix well and add Chilli powder, coriander powder, Cumin powder, and garam masala.
Then put the chicken mix well with masala, add lemon juice and   cook for 15 minutes in medium flame.
Then add rice and water, curd and close the lid and have a whistle. Let he vapors to go out, open the lid, add little ghee and chopped coriander leaves.
Nattu kozhi biriyani recipe is ready to taste. Chettinad biryani recipe tamil nadu style is very delicious.

Ø  During the preparation of semiya payasam recipe tamil style, use chopped dates along with dry grapes to enhance the taste.
Ø  While preparing onion pakoda recipe, fry and make a powder for groundnut add with pakkoda mix to get crispy onion pakkoda.
Ø  Add a cup of coconut milk while preparing sarkarai pongal recipe or sweet pongal recipe. You will get soft delicious pongal.
Ø  IIf you have excess grated coconut, add little salt and fry for a minute in sim flame.  Keep it in an airtight container and use for next day.
Ø  While Preparing Ulunthu vadai recipe, boil 2 potatoes, mash it and add with the Ulunthu mixture. This will reduce the oil absorption and gives you crispy Ulunthu vadai.
Ø  Use nonstick vessel to prepare sweet varieties like palkova recipe, thengai burfi recipe and semiya kesari recipes.
Ø  While you prepare Rava dosa recipe add 2tsp of kadalai mavu to get crispy and tasty Rava dosa recipe.
Ø  In bitter guard or pagarkai kulambu recipe preparation, chopp the pagarkai and add a pinch of turmeric powder, 1tsp jaggery and few drops of lemon juice to remove the bitterness.
Ø  Add a cup of milk instead of water for poori mavu preparation. This will enhance the taste of poori.
Ø  In Thengai burfi recipe preparation add cashew nut and Badam powder to get dofferent taste. It will give a definite shape to the burfi.
Ø  While preparing idli podi add a spoon of fried and powdered coriander. In Tamil sambar podi preparation, at the time of frying add little salt to avoid odor of the chillies.
Ø  While cutting vegetable banana for vazhaikkai poriyal or vazhaipoo for vazhaipoo cutlet dip your hands in salt water to avoid stickiness.

Ingredients required for Brahmin Samayal Recipes in Tamil Style
This is called moong dal pongal recipe or Sakkarai Pongal Recipe
Moong Dal 1 cup
Raw rice (paccharici) 1cup
Milk 1cup
Cashew nut 10
Dry Grapes  10
Cardamom  2
Powdered Jaggery 1.5 cup
Ghee – 150ml
How to Prepare Brahmin Samayal Recipes :  Tamil Style Sakkarai Pongal Recipe
Sakkarai Pongal Recipe is the delicious of all Brahmin Samayal Recipes, here I have given the simple and easy preparation of sakkarai pongal recipe tamilnadu style.
1.   Take a pan add half tsp of ghee, fry Cashew nut and Dry Grapes. Keep it aside.
2.   In the same pan add 1tsp of ghee and fry the moong dal to get golden colour
3.   Soak the moong dal and rice for half an hour before cookin
4.   Take the vessel add, 5 cups of water and milk then add the soaked dal and rice
5.   Cook until it becomes soft, add jaggery when it is half cooked, mix well, pour ghee
6.   Make a powder of cardamom and add to Sakkarai Pongal Recipe
7.   Keep the stove in sim for 5 monutes and finally add the Cashew nut and  dry grapes
8.   If you are preparing sakkarai pongal recipe pressure cooker, cook dal and rice in cooker
9.   Then add jagerry, ghee, cardamom powder, Cashew nut and dry grapes.
10.                Keep stove in sim and cook for another 5 minuts. Now delicious sakkarai pongal recipe cooker Preparation is ready.

Saravana Bhavan Rasam Recipe Soup Style Preparation

One of the best and mostly liked hotel recipes of Tamil Nadu are saravana bhavan recipes. The taste of the recipes remembers our traditional food. saravana bhavan rasam recipes are very delicious. There are different types od rasam recipes like paruppu rasam, tomato rasam, pacha puli rasam, lemon rasam, milagu rasam, poondu rasam recipe and kollu rasam recipe. Here I have given the preparation of  thakkali rasam in Tamil hotel style.

Saravana Bhavan Rasam Recipe Ingredients
Tomato: 3 medium sized
Tamarind: Gooseberry size
Asafetida: a pinch
Garlic: 10
Mustard: 1/2tsp
Dry chillies: 2
Channa Dal: 1/4tsp
Broken Urad Dal: 1/4tsp
Curry leaves: as required
Coriander leaves: as required
Oil:  as required
Salt: as required

Saravana Bhavan Rasam Powder Ingredients
Lentil: 2 tsp or take 3tsp of boiled lentil paste
Channa Dal: 1/2tsp
Cumin seeds: 1/2tsp
Coriander seeds: 1/2tsp
Black pepper seeds: 1/2tsp
Curry leaves: as required

Saravana Bhavan Rasam Recipe Preparation

  • Fry the saravana bhavan rasam podi (powder) Ingredients in 1tsp oil and make a powder.
  • Make a juice of tomato by adding required water, add salt and mix well.
  • Prepare the juice of Tamarind by adding little water. Mix tamarind and tomato juice together.
  • Tap garlic without removing the skin, now adjust the taste of saravana bhavan rasam recipe by tasting a drop.
  • Take a vessel, pour a tsp of oil, sauté, spray Asafetida.
  • Then add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and red chillies. Fry well in low flame.
  • Finally add tapped ginger and fry well, pour the rasam water in the vessel and add the prepared rasam powder.
  • Switch off the stove when the tomato soup or rasam comes to the stage of foam (stage before boiling). Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Delicious Saravana bhavan rasam recipe is to taste.
